PAINTING MARATHON, CONWY QUAY, 20th AUGUST 2011
Seven brave artists took part in our Painting marathon on Saturday 20th August 2011 to raise money for our extensive Education programme. The artists listed below very generously offered to paint/draw on the quay and donated the art work they produced to the RCA Education Programme.
The artwork produced during the marathon will be exhibited in the RCA until September the 8th . The work will be auctioned by sealed bid to the highest bidder, an opportunity not to be missed.
The RCA’s Education Programme is a wonderful educational resource which brings art in the gallery to life and offers exciting opportunities to be creative whether you are a school pupil, student or grandparent!. Help us to keep creativity alive for many years to come. All money raised will go towards our fantastic education programme of school workshops, lectures, evening classes, master-classes and family drop in sessions.

The event is supported by the Friends of the RCA and last year raised £4,000 to help support the vital Education Programme for adults and children.
