Constituted in 1881, the Royal Cambrian Academy is a centre for artistic excellence in Wales. It has over 100 artist members and aims to exhibit work by members of the Academy, to promote up and coming artists of quality, to mount historical exhibitions and offer a lively venue for education.

The Royal Cambrian Academy

Both a group of artists and an art gallery.

The Royal Cambrian Academy has over 100 artist members. Its headquarters is a modern art gallery in Conwy, North Wales. The gallery holds 6 major exhibitions per year showing a wide variety of art from landscapes to abstracts, contemporary work to historical art.
