At the age of eighteen Ishbel McWhirter held her first one-person exhibition and her work came to the attention of the great Viennese artist Oscar Kokoschka, who invited her to become his pupil in London. Ishbel McWhirter now paints in her Anglesey studio overlooking the Menai Straits and Snowdonia, a panorama that has fascinated and inspired her recent work.

All works are for sale and the gallery runs an Interest Free payment scheme (the Collectorplan, supported by the Arts Council of Wales) Just pay a 10% deposit and pay the balance over 10 months.
