Peter Holloway
Elected to the RCA in 2005. Born in Cheshire, studied Law at Manchester University and International Law in Geneva, followed by a year travelling overland to India. Studied Fine Art at the Royal Academy Schools in London 1966. Lived as a painter in Ireland, Berlin and, since 1980 in Anglesey.
"Process, play, paradox, flow, chaos, contemplation - these words give some insight into the thoughts and ideas behind my recent work. In working with the concept of flow and the unpredictable nature of chance, I aim to allow the materials I use to have their voice and also to convey a sense of stillness within the movement."
