What is an Academician?

An academician is an artist member of the Royal Cambrian Academy.

Artists may apply to become a member of the Academy and will be elected following a successful vote at the Annual General Meeting of academicians.

Academicians have a high standing as well-respected artists and are entitled to participate in the Annual Summer Exhibition, the Christmas Exhibition and to request solo shows at the RCA gallery.
